Éleos has never been about quick fixes.

We believe in the power of relationships, and those take time to develop. When it comes to serving our community, we’re in it for the long haul. That’s why we’re putting down roots. As we see changes taking place all around us—some good, some troubling—we’re more convinced than ever that now is the time for us to take our commitment to the next level. We’ve been given the incredible opportunity to purchase the building where our tutoring and mentoring center is located, and we’re confident this is exactly where God wants us. With that in mind, we’re buying a building and digging in. We love our neighbors. We love Nicholtown. This is home.

PROGRESS TOWARDS OUR GOAL OF 400,000.00
200,000 50%

We need your help to make a lasting impact.

Our goal is to raise $400,000 by the end of April to purchase our building and put down permanent roots in our community. The building we’re looking to buy currently houses our newly renovated, multi-purpose after-school center (we call it “The Co-Op”), which is where we offer a variety of program opportunities throughout the week.

In this space, students are participating in tutoring sessions, leadership training, and one-on-one mentoring. They’ve even found the Co-Op to be a safe place where they can hang out, kick back, and feel at home. Purchasing our facility, which is conveniently located within walking or biking distance for most of our community members, will allow us to serve these students and their families for decades to come.

Anyone who has ever engaged in urban community development for more than a brief season discovers that it takes an investment of multiple years just to see the life of one student transformed. If we want to see an entire generation of students transformed, we need to think 20 and 30 years down the road.

We recognize that our mission is challenging and our goal is lofty, but God has always provided for our needs—no matter how overwhelming they may seem. We are continually blown away by the kind and generous people God continues to bring around Eleos, and so it’s with humble hearts and hopeful gratitude that we ask for your support.

Will you partner with us, and help us put down roots in the community we love? Nicholtown truly is our home, and with your help, we’re here for good.
