Coworking / Community Development
In 2017, we restored a former warehouse in the Nicholtown neighborhood and repurposed it as a cooperative workspace for area professionals to conduct business and build community.
This is a cooperative workspace for people from all backgrounds and walks of life. A place where creatives, entrepreneurs, and influencers can share life and ideas together. During the afternoons and evenings, the Co-Op provides services to equip individuals and families to lift themselves out of poverty. We offer after-school tutoring, mentoring, Bible studies, and career readiness programs in the afternoons and evenings. We hope the Eleos Co-op becomes catalytic in our initiatives for holistic personal development and sustainable community development.
To cover the day-to-day operating costs of our organization, we offer coworking memberships for our space to be used during business hours throughout the week. Not only is this model sustainable, but it also creates a true “collaborative workspace” for people of all backgrounds. If you are enrolled in a GED program, your membership is on the house – we want to provide a quiet space along with tangible resources that can help you take your next step in life!
